The Watercolor Travel Journal Workshop

The Watercolor Travel Journal Workshop

date: June 8 & 9, Saturday & Sunday, 2019

time: 10 am to 5 pm

location: Minneapolis, MN

Travel journals can register trips you have taken, help you to plan or prepare for the trip, what you learned during the trip and the experiences you had. You can also sketch your own city, starting a collection of adventures, stories, memories and discovery. It doesn't matter where you're going or who you're traveling with, an online trip journal can come anywhere as watercolor is very portable and easy to dry.

This workshop is designed to encourage participants to express themselves, taking inspiration from both the natural landscape and the built environment. Through painting demonstrations participants will learn how to use watercolors to sketch in a travel journal from start to finish. Learn how to paint with purpose and energy, registering your travels in loosen and transparent watercolors, showing your own voice.
