Class in English

Rediscover the city and learn how to sketch the urban landscape while having fun!  In this 12 hour class, Cris will guide you to deepen your skill and enjoyment of drawing & water media techniques while seeing the city with the eyes of an “andarilho” ( a word in Portuguese meaning walker)

This workshop is designed for participants with basic, intermediate or advanced knowledge- all skills are welcome!

Wondering about your level? If you have the basics fo drawing you will be fine. This class isn’t really designed to be a basic ‘how to draw’ from ground up per se, but drawing instruction comes into play throughout with demos and working one on one while out on location. You will learn about drawing and water media techniques, basic notions of perspective, materials, composition etc. and get experience and gain confidence under a patient and generous teachers guidance

Materials list:  Specific list of materials will be sent via email to registrants. Expect to bring a few basic supplies: pencil, watercolors, watercolor brushes, a sketchbook, simple drawing tools

24 attendees maximum, 8 minimum. Any level of drawing experience is welcome.

Travel and Lodging: Participants responsible for their own travel and accommodation and lunch

We will meet at a coffee shop in South Minneapolis (Please note the place is subject to change). Exact location will be sent to your email upon registration.

For on-site sketching, exact locations and coordination will be discussed and confirmed between participants the first day of class.
